Went to see the film last night. Very good and thought provoking.
Towards the end of the film when Sophie was reunited with her family at the Church I noticed in the background a very tidy Traveller, smoke blue I think. Does it belong to anyone on the forum or is there an interesting story of why it was included?

We went to Lincoln Cathedral which is Which was used for the inside filming of Westminster !
There was a display of Da Vinci code props I'm sure most people thought they were real - I went round the back and they were made of MDF.
I think we are going to see the film tonight I'll look out for the traveller

American films will always include a rolls royce, mini and similar British iconic cars when showing a street scene in Britain.
Presumably the car would have belonged to the local Vicar, as in movie land all country vicars have a Morris Minor.
I'm sure most people thought they were real

A lot of people think the story is real too

.
Mind you, a lot of people used to shout abuse at 'Trevor' from East Enders when they saw him IRL - one woman even hit him with her handbag

It is a strange thing.
One second the morris was in shot. The next it was gone. A MINOR continunity problem there.
Still I enjoyed the film, but it would have been better to have seen the film then read the book rather than the other way round.

I find that's usually the way - the film gives a taster of what you could get from the book.
As for the rest of you - you didn't half make me laugh! Nearly sprayed coffee all over the table

"One lady owner" indeed...

My car (Gracie) was owned by two vicars in the not too distant past.

For all those not 'in the know', Gracie was bought for a bottle of Johnnie Walker. She was in a pretty poor state, but still well worth £20 though.
