The only thing holding the convertible together is the sill assembly beneath
the doors. It is quite a complicated section and needs very careful positioning
of the body before the new sections are welded in place. The convertible also
has extra strengthening inside the sills although it is possible to fit an 'oversill'
section inside the car to restore missing strength. You would be well advised
to research the rebuilding proceedure thoroughly before you start. All the
necessary sections are available from many Minor specialists. If the sills are
rotten then you will probably find that the door posts and inner wing areas are
also in a poor state. As a rough guide, one advertiser rebuilds the floors,
sills, rear spring hangars etc for £999.00!!

Steve, there is a Minor parts place in Oldbury (Morris Minor Centre Birmingham), http://www.morrisminor.co.uk/index.htm but to be honest, I was not very impressed with the quality of the panels that they stock. If I were you, I'd mail order from ESM http://www.morrisminorspares.co.uk/ or Bull Motif http://www.morrisminorspares.net/
