General maintenance? What needs to be done regularly?

I have a recently reconditioned Morris 1000 and want to keep it in top condition, but being new to this I'm at a bit of a loss. I have the workshop manual and so on, but have no idea what needs to be checked or done regularly to keep it so.

Can anyone suggest a checklist of bits and pieces that need regular upkeep? You know, nipples to grease (and where to find them), fluids levels to top up, burboils to flummox, wangdoodles to strip and so on.

The more detailed the better! As I mentioned, I have a workshop manual but that simply tells me how to fix things, not what to do to maintain its condition.

Thanks again.

Hi Malcolm, have a browse through my website, on the Links page you will find a service sheet (in excel format) that I use, it's as simple as it can be (has to be with me ) but serves it's purpose :D

Who did the 'reconditioning' ? Main thing is regular oil and filter changes - and very regular greasing of the front suspension. Otherwise - gearbox oil level, rear axle oil level, brake adjustments and inspections, fan belt/spark plugs/points/hoses - and annual cleaning of the electric fuel pump points!
