Hi, my "new" traveller came with a scrape on the n/s rear wing. Its dented the metal slightly and scored through the paint - its about the size of a handprint.
Ive not attempted any repair such as this before (well Im new to all car DIY actually) , can anyone advise on the process of what to do and what materials to use? - or point me in the direction of a good book or website that'll help?.
Thanks , Mike.

You'll need to do some panel beating with hammer and dolly and then paint spraying. A panel beating video is available from the club.

A good idea to enrol on a restoration course as you will learn these skills there. No rush to do this job yet as its cosmetic and not an MOT point, for now just get some cellulose touch up paint to protect the steel and make the damage less obvious. Best to get skilled rather than try beating it out and make it worse!

Actually, i have a simmilar scrape on my Travellers rear wing and will attempt rapair to this area soon. Pics to be posted on EKMM site (eventually ;))

If the metal is only slightly dented it may be easier to use filler.

If you attempt to beat it out you will have to finish it off with filler anyway.
