hi there as you mite of guessed im new on here and my first question to anyone is, i have recented addopted a 1970 morris traveler and my biggest worry was nearly the first thing i saw on the car well, she is in a real state but im ready for it, the rear leaf spring nearside was replaced but, at the rear on the car where it bolts to is nearly gone because on rot and i wondered if anybody had any suggestions for solving it. sorry if i went on a bit!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi GreaseM, welcome to the forum! All the panels are available to repair that area (boot corner, inner wing rear panel, rear chassis extension panel).

These parts are available from all the major parts suppliers.

Shop around for best prices, but the rear chassis member made by ESM is very nicely fabricated and finished! (IMHO)

GM, you'll beed to take lots of measurements from various fixed points and directions on the car to the suspension mounting hole and damper mounting before you cut anything off. Then, when you weld the new bits back on, make sure you get the new suspension points in the right places!

The car will drive better because of it!
