This was my grandfather's car from new, given to my mum in 1983 on 40k miles.
It still had the original wood and in fairly good condition in 1989 when she sold it.
It was sold from Highworth,nr Swindon in Wiltshire.

It was quite recognisable because the rear aluminium roof section appeared to have not been primed in the factory and had big shiny unkeyed ally patches showing through.

If anyone knows of it's whereabouts or has a picture of it it'd be really appreciated.

Cheers- I knew all that bit though :). Will definitely know if it's still on the road in a few days because the tax will be renewed.

I was hoping one of your members might be in possession of it as it was in exceptional condition for an unrestored traveller when it was sold.

To be honest, there are far too many out there to keep track of. Only a limited number of owners use this website so the chances are pretty slim of someone knowing the car. Worth a shot though. :D
