Gasless Mig Welders, are they any Good?

Hi All,

I've been using my Mig welder for a while, and it's now broken, and to be honest a bit long in the tooth. So I was thinking of replacing it with one of those Gasless Migs. Anyone had any good/Bad experiences with one? How does it compare with a Gas mig?

Get a dual one - Then you can go gasless, realise how naff it is, and go back to gas

Agreed - I found it tricky to get anything approaching a good weld with gasless. One of these days I'll get a good weld WITH gas...

In that case, I'll investigate fixing mine further, and if not get another gas one. Ta everyone.
