The old girl has a few scuffs and scratches on the inside :( , along the metal underneatch windows etc. What's the best thing to do to fix, is it just a case of sanding and painting as best you can?

Any ideas gratefully received.

If it were me I'd remove as much of the surrounding interior as possible and use newspaper or brown paper everywhere. You know how paint seems to get everywhere and mask up carefully!

How bad are the scratches mate? If your car is celulose finish then get yourself some touchup from one of the minor specialists, or a can for that matter and do yourself a touch up job with some wet and dry, a cutting compound and a mop to go on a drill. You can buy touch up kits from Mer that contain all you need (except the coloured paint) + instructions and a DVD for about £20. It might be easier to go down this route depending on how bad the scratches are before you start stripping, taking stuff out and masking etc...
