I can't open the second image - I get an icon that says 'image' - help!

The second 'image' is not an image at all. It's a link to a php document.

PHP is a server-side HTML embedded scripting language. It provides web developers with a full suite of tools for building dynamic websites... and so on. Anyone really care? Just type PHP into Google :D

Thanks for help folks.
I was trying to put up piccies via one of these specialist sites (RogerRust's?, I've forgotten which) and got this image thing. But this image thing turns up here quite often, and I can never open them. Am I missing some software? My daughter suggests that pop-up excluders might be to blame.
