Morris Minor Owners Club

My door cards, apart from colour fade are in a resonable condition and I would like to restore them. I have tried cleaning one them and then using shoe polish cream on it followed by car spray laquar. Is there a better method, or should I carry on?. The one I have done looks okay, but I thought I would ask other people on what they have done. My interior is red, and seems to have darkened to a nice 'ox blood red' comparied to a new front scuttle panel I have had to get which is a bright red.

i have used car paint it was an old austin red thay came out shiney and bright .looks brill have ago but its hard to find the right colour nowa days i found the paint in the auto jumble
