Good Day All! It is my understanding the the eyebolt bushes are the same item as the rear spring hanger bushes...can anyone confirm that these are the same as the Midget/Sprite rear spring bushes? I am short a pair for some front end work that I would like to accomplish this weekend. The Midget items are readily available here in the US, but not many Morris suppliers. Many thanks in advance!

No idea about midget parts, but based on the quality (useless) of most replacement standard suspension bushes I would recommend going for polyurethan items (Available mail order from lots of places)
Some have better reputations than others and you also want to avoid really stiff ones unless you're a sadist, so best to search the forum for thread about polyurethane bushes.

If you can find them go for the metalastic bush which was fitted to Austin J4 van/pick-ups. I fitted these after seeing an article in Minor Matters some years ago; to date they have done over 100k miles in a working Minor.

Thanks for the insightful replies...I have used the metalastic bushes in my MGB's for years and was not aware that was an option for the Minor. I will look around for the J4 items.

If the eyebolt bushes are too hard - it can lead to the chassis legs cracking ! But the 100k miles is impressive testimony - well done !
