The track rod ends are interchangeable, so all have l/h thread. good luck with the compromise!!

Guess you just tap in new lubrication grease nipples into the flat surfaces of the tops of these NOS track rod ends.

the ones you have are sealed for life ones should not need nipples in

also the trouble with pattern wings etc
better to get origional or good second hand wings

some fibre glass front wings are a lot better fit than the pattern metal ones

I could use a ratchet cargo band to coax the wings gently inward, safer than a torniquet, thanks for the tip on the nipple less track rod ends Dennis. Here they are with some nicely painted refreshed parts.The fuel pump diaphram is untouched and original. Its working perfectly so why fix it.[frame][/frame]

I'm hoping the only difference is that the passenger seat doesn't fold its seat back down onto the seat base. I'll find out tommorow when I pick them up.

The floor of the traveller/saloon goes down slightly towards the back whereas the pickup floor is flat, this means the back leg of the traveller seats is slightly longer so you might find that you're leaning forward slightly...

A check on the angle the seat sits at might be an idea, the floor in a pickup cab is flat unlike "passenger" Minors.
Your build thread is inspiring, so much so that I have bought the bits of a truck myself. The body is due to go to the painters today, if they are open after the earthquake.

What you could do is fit the good blue covers to your exsisting seat frames so they sit properly, you can buy a specail vinyl paint. Heres a link to woolies, thay made up the brown colour for a mates van seats a couple of years ago.

oH BLAST. Never mind, as you all point out I could exchange the seat covers cushions over from the trav set of seat to the original pickup seat frames. for now I'm storing them away in the dry to work on them at a later time.

Thats the next step Rob, I didn't want to heat damage the boot further up the rod, I'll try covering it with a damp rag.
