I only had one motorbike until a car hit head on driving on a single track lane and he was going to fast and I knew he wasn't going to stop so I jumped off and he hit my bike and the only damage to the bike was a cracked front mudguard and the car had a broken grill dented bonnet, bumper and the sump of the car was also leaking. After that I got a car.

triumph herald 7666 JW. why can we always remember our first reg number? Bought it for 50 quid in 1967, and had it about a year before deciding that six miles a pint (of oil) was a bit on the expensive side, besides which the trail of smoke was endangering fellow motorists.
chopped it in for an old box viva. by some margin, the worst car i've ever had.

My 1st was a Minor van SOO386K. Transport for student days, and into working life... Still have it too, but been semi retired for the last 10 years or so and looks forlornly at me form the back of the workshop whilst I work on other vehicles.... :(
One day!

Well I guess that depends on how memorable it was. My first car I had for around 2 years, but all I recall is it was a 1969 G reg, whereas 2nd car was a brand new tax free forces export and I remember both it's numbers, the UK one and the Forces one in Germany.
It was a 1977 pale blue Vauxhall Viva GLS. The reg is still active though been untaxed since 1992, so imagine it has long gone to the great Breaker in the Sky, unless it's lurking to be a Garage Find somewhere. DVLA have it as Red, so it got resprayed at some point...
