Have a problem with horn operation. The earthing cable in the steering column is broken flush with the top of the column, and to pass MOT
I fitted a remote switch temporarily, but where does this cable emerge from column to connect to a new piece please?

Thanks. Through the slip ring then.

You need to take the slip ring and insulator off and pull the wire through the hole in the side of the column.
