An hour for an AGM doesn't sound like long enough.
Even the little branch I attend doesn't manage an AGM in that time.
In fact I don't think I've ever attended ANY meeting that only lasted an hour, let alone an AGM for a national organisation :o.

The AGM lasted just under 2 hours (not including tea break) but quite a bit of time was taken up with speeches, award giving, and a powerpoint presentation. The awards could be presented during the usual rally prize giving ceremony, speeches could be cut down and anything that needed to be put up on a powerpoint could be displayed around the marquee for attendees to look at throughout the weekend. I'd say that an hour or a little bit longer to cover the treasurer's & secretary's reports, election of posts, resolutions and AOB would be achievable. Next year's rally planning is already underway but perhaps something to consider for 2011? :D
