Just a quick update. I have now requested that the club recognise next years rally as an official MMOC event and that it be covered by their insurance policy.

I'd really love to go again this year, but I'm not sure yet if I'm going to be able to.

Anyway, if I can't make the whole week I'm sure I'll still come up to visit for a least the weekend.

Isn't it about time that the organiser(s) of this event started a new thread stating when & where it is to be held?
Occasional users like me can get v confused by all the other stuff

Some previous posts Mary. Isn't it about time some people kept up to date

OK, having given this considerable thought, I am now going to make some suggestions for your comments.

Area - Derbyshire Dales
Date - July or September.

Please let me have your views by email.
Thanks,
Bill

It appears from the feedback I'm receiving that 17th - 25th July, is preferable to 24th - 31st July.

So if I receive no objections these are the dates I will work with.

How many cars went on the 2009 event, how many miles did you do on the event?

I think there were around 25 cars and about 50 people. In addition there were also some day visitors.
As this was the first MOT-UK I was very pleased with the numbers, and their enthusiasm. A really great crowd.
The mileage depends on your location and that of the event, and this will vary from year to year. Hopefully they will move around the country and give everyone a chance to take part.

If you're interested Mary, send me an e-mail.

So, OK, I email YOU but what about anyone else?
I'm not 'doing your event down' just suggesting how you might promote it
