You are more than welcome to meet at our place if Gaydon is full or unavailable.
I'm currently planning a must see route of interesting places in the area, which will involve roads that make up our favorite shackdown routes. It could be that the Folly Pub provide an area in their carpark for us to meet. Nice pub good beer and food (homemade)inc puddings. Its located on the canal side with lovely walks around. Its also only half a mile or less away from our place and a mile from the rolling road. :D

Sorry guys, I've been a bit rubbish with getting onto here. I think the plan is that we arrive early and annex a section of car park. Don't think I'm going to be mogging it the way things have been going with the trav.

I don't think this will be possible as there is a large Land Rover event over 3/4 May at Gaydon.

Maybe best to meet up elsewhere as suggested.

But last time we went there there was a large Porsche Meet

(they even held Ray up getting in as I remember, first time I've seen a mog held up by a 911!)

If we are going to meet elsewhere does anyone have a suggestion?

My guess is that its going to be a busy day at Gaydon so I'd rather meet elsewhere.

Is it too late to throw in a wild card? DUXFORD SPRING CAR SHOW or OXFORD BUS MUSEUM

sorry

What about Kenilworth Castle. The car park there is huge, which should allow parking for up to 20 minors in one block if we get there early enough. I could check with them to see if a space needs to be allocated.
This venue will not offer cars, trucks or buses to look at but Kenilworth has some lovely old areas , none better than the castle which might even be staging some form of historical re enactment. Just a thought.
If those wanting to call in on the local minor specialist still wish to then a suitable scenic route can be designed. :D

The website says that if you book in advance you can park on the castle green. Will you call them Jonathan?

Also there is a reinactment that weekend so should be fun!

Theres 3 possible vehicles that I may turn up in.

Most likely is the fester
possibly the convertible, but its not been used in an ago so might not be the best idea..
If things go *really* well and I get it MOT'd the Trav!

Afraid not Dan. Was promised a return call on friday but it never materialized. I'll contact them tomorrow.
I think we'll have to cancel the rolling road session though, as they need 10 cars in order to do the day, Sorry :(
