A, er, what?
Well the plan was to copy the accompanying photo in my post but....
Anyhow, I was referring to the fact that your manifold and carb appear to be floating, unsupported by the (missing) cylinder head.

Excellent pics there guys.
How did the Minor cope as a tow car?
You've got your hands full there bigginger!
Dale - first you need to host your images on a site such as
www.photobucket.com or
www.tinypic.com.
When they are hosted, the site will give you a link that starts with [IMG] that you copy and paste into your message. Just be careful the pics are not too big, I know Photobucket lets you resize before you upload it

Interesting to see a Mini and Minor together.
The Minor always looks bigger than it is. The photos prove its not.

Cheers guys!
Yeah the morris was actually a good tow car! Take it nice and steady and it just chugged along fine
The hardest part was trying to find a point to tie the rope to!! ended up making a triangle round the suspension mounts. This was when we were half way through welding the mini's engine steady bar mount.

Mine came to me with a towbar fitted and has apparently done a lot of towing - suspect thats why theres no rear suspension left
Would love to get rid of it in the refurb as its so darned ugly, but toying with the idea of a trav trailer so it will have to stay until thats decided on.

You probably aren't blessed with a ton of gravel washing down the slope and sitting under your car whenever it rains, then

Don't understand that one in the slightest

Anyhoo, realised I'd forgotten a pic of my first one, twenty five or so years ago.
I bought it from a scrapyard, and have since heard it's back on the road. Reg BKL 335K, just in case the current owner sees this - and yes, I do have a few more pics of it

How? I'm intrigued. It's a scan of a 25 year old picture, so I guess the colour is a bit weird - "improved' in P'shop too. The model (from 18 years ago - a gift, and I remember the date 'cos I'd just started a new job) looks like this
