Hey thanks for the positive comments I must say I was a little worried when given a free hand with the interior. Charles said Biscuit was the best interior then sent an option card with all the various seat pattens.
Having seen a minor with white piping on red seats I asked for maroon with the biscuit and am really pleased with the result. Darn definately not concours now!!

I think the interior colour really matches well to the new wood, gives a very balanced look IMHO. Almost looks like a 'Gabe' interior from American Hotrod series. Definately one of the nicest Travellers I have seen in a long time.

Well finally I flew over to Bristol on monday looked over the car, had a little run, then drove down to Portsmouth taking it nice and easy.
She ran very well.
I then had a phone call to say the ferry had been cancelled for the following morning and I needed to be in Weymouth 11am sailing today.
No big problem I thought, had breakfast and set off at 7.15 thinking 2.45hrs was plenty of time until I got stuck in really slow traffic right from The hotel. Started to worry as the GPS which has been pretty good initially estimated arrival at 9.30 then 9.45 then hovered around this time until I was 5miles out of Weymouth and the traffic stopped. As there were a few folk stuck in this queue the good folk at Condor ferries delayed the ferry for us.

Finally arrived at 11.15 and I am sure that all the folk standing on the back of the boat thought I had delayed them as my car was old and slow.

Well they should know that with a good run up and maybe a little tail wind the speedo read 85mph but the gps said it really was 75!!.

Anyway really pleased with all of the work and not a single drip of oil what a change from my others.

Only gripe is that they re-used the old glass and the back doors have scratches where someone sanded the wood once before. and the front windscreen has lots of little scratches which are annoying in direct sunlight. They said they dont like the new pattern glass as it does not fit as well and the corners are not rounded?!! mmm not sure about that.
Anyway will take some pics this weekend.

When it comes to the snags & gripes show them no mercy whatsoever until you are entirely satisfied - not for that amount of money you spent and afterall you did so in search of perfection. Settle for nothing less and if they dont cut the mustard sue thier asses

Final price was £12787. (but I have not paid any VAT).
I am very pleased with it and think it is good value when compared to a new car.

Looks Great- I got mine from CW too, but its not restored to the same level as yours- yet! Something to aim for.

Well finally got to have a really good look at everything and I am pretty happy. There are a few little things to do but really not much. All in all they have done a really first class job.
The only thing that is a little odd is the chrome hockey stick on the passenger side does not sit atall well on the panel and I cannot see why yet. Once the honeymoon is over I guess I will start to fiddle about with things.

Fantastic and the rear doors stay open on their own as many dont.

Not really, the drivers side does not very well but is all greased up. a bit of grit and fluff should sort it out.
I never really noticed before as the back windows on my other traveller did not work. Is the small amount of opening for the back doors just so a dogs nose can stick through?
