 well that'll teach you to leave your car by my house when you're on holiday and when I don't have a car on the road ;-)

Tempting as it might be, I think I'll pass if you don't mind as I need a fair amount of time to get the MG in some order to shift it out of the way in order to get Gracie in the garage. But thanks anyway.

Ray, I'll give you a shout if this 'box I've got is rubbish. I'll give it a run to Wolves & back on the motorway (about 80 miles round trip) and if it survives that OK then I'll do the L2B! I'm more worred about the engine TBH. It was good (but high mileage) when I took it out but it's been sat for 5 years. :-?

Aww shucks. And I was thinking I could have been so useful, what with my past experience and endless skill in these matters ;-) :P

What sort of time are you thinking of eating? After saying nothing can keep me away, I've had something land on me which I can't avoid   . It's a presentation in Bristol, UWE from 12-5 and I thought if you's were intending to eat around/after that, I could tag along.

I've gotta attend this presentation and it's the only venue and date nearby-ish that I can go to.

No plans for the eating time yet AFAIK, and I'm finding the place to eat... I asked Nikki when she wanted it to be, but she hasn't saaid yet - let you know as soon as I do, but there's bound to be at least some of us around after 5 :D

Dizzi, I live literally two minutes away from UWE. If you like you can perhaps kip on our floor the night before. That way you're in Bristol and can come to the first hour of the meet (we were starting 10ish) and still get back to UWE on time if you leave the museum by say, 11:15.

And then in the evening you can come and join us! :)

Afternoon/evening I think :) Whatever time people want.

However, if those who have travelled a long way need to leave they can and those closer can continue the fun later :)

Right folksies. I've not forgotten at all about the rally. Do people want to make their own ways to the actual museum (which is down by the docks) or would people appreciate a mini-convoy from say, Parkway station ( Which is reasonably quiet on a Saturday and a good starting venue for anyone coming from the North/Motorway - so basically anyone who isn't Andrew or Guy! :D )

Is Parkway easy to get to from the A4? Don't really know Bristol that well although I've found my way to IKEA and the Great Britain before!

I live about a mile and a half from Ikea. But then, if you're coming up the A4 and know bristol you may be better off just heading there.

It's really for anyone who doesn't want to navigate through bristol on their own! :D

We were both born here, and spent many years living here - we can probably find it ourselves :D
