If the fluid had gone down - it must have leaked out, or one or more cylinder pistons have stuck 'out'. So remove each drum in turn - check for leaks and sticking cylinder - and adjust up if all ok. Hopefully you didn't use the hopeless 'pattern' cylinders.... Top tip is to use a blob of red rubber grease (ebay) in each cylinder.

no I didn't use pattern ones will get to the breaks when I get a good day its still rather cold up here in Scotland lol but thanks all for your excellent . tips and encouragement means a lot and at the end of the day with your help I got my car running I have not fitted new coil yet but I will keep it for spare as all I changed was rotor and away she went

Good news on the running. As above, brakes are rather important. but probably best to start a new thread rather than posting it under "running problems". If you changed all the cylinders then you will need to thoroughly blled the whole system. This will lsoe fluid, and it is essential to top up with fluid as you go.
