PS I have just noticed that the 2008 LEO Run thread is still being viewed, and has now had almost 73,500 hits!!!!
So if you're one of those, but are concerned by the relatively high mileage and time spent in the car, why not try MOT-UK

Oh I've been upstaged on the list!
And as for Onne's post......
not little and
not old!
Date doesn't have to be the same each year?? Maybe a small comfort to those who can't make it.

No, the date doesn't have to be the same every year (unlike the LEO Run if it is intended to attend the OVC Rally in Orkney) However I do hope that I can get some 'definites' before going any further, I don't want to organise the campsite, visits, discounts etc, only to have everyone pull out at the last minute

As soon as I know the dates i will get my days off

Right, is it definitely going to be Saturday 18th to Saturday 25th July 2009 then?
As thats the date you gave originally

Provided that there are enough confirmed entrants as I mentioned earlier, it is my intention to run the event from Saturday 18th to Saturday 25th July 2009.

With the number of 'definite' PM's I have received, I think that like the LEO, this event is going to be well worth organising. However please remember that the more we have takinng part, the greater the potential for discounts. So come on, let's see a few more of you enjoying our first MOT-UK

Provided we can take caravan (creature comforts & all that) please add me to the definite list if I'm not too late.
Regards, Charlie Shipp.

Don't worry, I am trying to find a campsite with a variety of accomodation options.

As there is now considerable interest in this event, and to save me sending PM's to everyone

, could all of those that have stated a definite interest please PM me with their accomodation preferences, i.e. camping, caravan, fixed mobile etc. This will greatly help me to find a suitable site. Thanks.

A nearby Youth Hostel would be good! ;)
Though as I said before, I'll probably only pop up for a weekend rather than the whole week.

As soon as I sort the site out, I'll let you know it's location so that you can find a YH nearby.
