When I used to attend gundog trials I noticed that eceryone called their dog the same name - when ever their dog didn't want to come back they whistled and called out its name - yerBa*****d, no wonder all the dogs looked confused.

Mines called ''JENNY'' after JENNY HANLEY from Magpie! my first car was a 1967 mini van named after her when i was 19, so when i bought mogster TCX 685H in 2006 i thought it a nice touch. I bet it gives my age away?

Ah, that small caravan - it´s just got to be an Eriba Puck, smallest Eriba trailer ever built. We used to have one behind the splitscreen VW bus back in the 60:s. Plenty of room in that thing actually, unless you decide to stand up... No brakes meant speed restrictions, we spent most of our trips in 70km/h mode. Life was slower in those days.

In order of my memory we have:

Moggie Magoo, Mini Magoo and Austin the Allegro.

Previous efforts have been:

Freddie the Freelander, Olive Ovlov my Volvo 480 Turbo, Penny the 205 cabriolet, Suzi Suzuki my SJ Samurai, The Dart my 205 GTi (D***ART) - I think thats it, the other 9 cars didn't have names that I can remember. There are 17 in 9 years though :)

Mine is called Fiona after the first owner. She was named by the second owners so I decided to keep it. Thing is, because Fiona is green, does that make me Shrek?!
Image
A new member came to our branch a few moths ago, his cars name was Bunty which I think is a great "jolly hockey sticks" name.
Swallows and Amazons, half shafts for goal posts etc.
