I may have to give my apologies for this Thurs as my elder daughter is in a school play at 7.00pm - if it ends in time I'll come along.
Is anyone going to the Dorset MMOC this Sunday?.
Regards, Mike.

Rightio, I showed up about 8.30 To find WPR's Pickup, and a green trav (Rob_jennings if memory serves) and despite wandering round the pub for about 1/2 Hour I couldn't find anyone! Left at 9.00. Saw a blue trav going the other way (about 9.15@hedge end) was that anyone?

Dan,
We were there! I was wearing a t-shirt with a huge Minor on the front and back and was told by someone else that someone at the bar had been asking where we were! We came out to look for you but to no avail. :( As the place was so busy when we got there, we were in the pub garden at the back. So sorry we missed you!

Sorry sorry sorry.

Spent all last night with the starter in bits.
Still can't be sure that is the problem but it is suspect no 1. (Earthed brush wire breaking up. Have carried out the Bodge of the week to fix it)

Along with an ancient battery at no 2

I topped up the battery last night and she started on the B of Brrrmmm this morning but the starter still sounds a bit weedy. Anyway I at least had a nice drive to work today and arrived early with a grin on my face :P

Paul, if the starter is playing up- just start the car on the handle till you can sort the problem. Its one of the benefits of Minor ownership! :)

Yep except I don't have a starter handle crank nut. The previous owner fitted a recon engine without a starting nut so untill ESM send me my new one I'm tinkering with the starter.

opps,

So sorry to have missed you Dan, as was said we got a tip off later that you had been there, but too late to catch you it seems.

Next week will have to make sure we can see the cars, or perhaps hang on outside a little longer before the first drink to give people time to gather.

We had 3 mog owners.... but one chose to leave his at home! so you would have still been welcome without Formally know as yellow mog Paul, although I can understand the need to get her running again ;-)

Any suggestions for next weeks pub are welcome otherwise we can choose between the Lamb or the Bold Forester again?

Hope to see most of you at the Dorset meet on Sunday perhaps?

Can I suggest the Cricketers Inn, round my side of town (Curdridge, and the beer garden is out front so we can see if anyone arrives! - especially useful after yesterday! (guess its my own fault for getting lost though!)

Well Dan I'm happy to go with your suggestion.

I saw Mike at the Dorset meet and he said he may not be able to make it, but Pete should be back from holiday and Paul might have Formally known as Yellowmog back on the road ;-)

so lets say Cricketers Inn at 8 ish

There are a couple of people that came last week that are not on line often, so I'll pass the details on to them.

Cheers
