Spotted a tired looking 2 door Moggie thou, reg number ASL 918 in olive green today (19-01-2012) in the forecourt of D.T. Mathewson in Thornton le dale near pickering n.yorks.
They repair and deal in specialist (expensive) vintage motors predominantly, a sign in this car read "not for sale till we fix it" or words to that effect.
It wasnt too shabby, but the bumper chrome was peeling like old paint, original brown leather seats though and the paint wasnt bad.

I was following this saloon last week on Gravel Hill in Poole, Dorset and managed to get this snap whilst following in my Minor pick up, although if you look at the oncoming vehicle, i didn't choose a very good moment to take it!!

And then last night i parked next to this 2 door saloon in Tesco car park in Ferndown, Dorset

kfo 672 belongs to some local boys carlo, i went to school with one of them. i think it gets shared amongst siblings, as he's now at university, so his older brother is keeping it alive (just). don't know if you noticed the nail in place of the pin on the boot hinge lol

Left hand drive convertible opposite a garage that services classic cars here in Rennes - first time I've seen it outside.
It is now back on the road following a change of cylinder head (obtained via MMOC)[frame]

today was an unusually good day for morris minors in the Southsea area. saw a late 4 door saloon in OEW near the Kings theatre in Albert road, quite tidy and a nice everyday car. had union jack badges screwed onto the wings for some reason?
then i saw a OEW g reg traveller. good wood, wheels painted black, which didn't really suit if i'm honest- also had some modern seats in it, and needed a wash!

Saw the grey pickup again in Ipswich today busy earning its living, load in back covered by a tarp. This is the 4th time I have seen it but the first time I have been able to see the number plate which is SHJ 172 G. Very nice condition and good to see it in everyday use as a work horse.

A few weeks ago whilst out mooching I came across a smoke grey (I think) pick-up with a visor around the Bradford/Dewsbury/Batley area. Oh it was beautiful. Almost died when I saw it but I drove past too quickly with a bus behind me so didn't get chance to stop. Had a look on here and I think it may be 'super trimbo'???
