The Barleycorn would be easiest to find in the dark insomuch as it won't be dark there but it will at the other one - and for several miles before - and muddy for that matter.
We usually aim to get there for 8pm.
Look for a table of missfits and beardies.

Whichever way I parse that sentence I can't get it to make sense...

Good description.
I might be a little late, I'm working a bit later today and it's 35 minutes over to Hedge End for me. Also, the bloody wheelnuts have failed to show up in the post, so I might not be in the Lemming after all
EDIT: they arrived, so assuming they fit Lemming will roll

Great, I will see you all there, I will now be coming directly from a work thing in Billingshurst (Uck). I have the Dr Who Scarf and the colour coded hat.
Is there a password or some sort of question to ask, ie great trunions its chilly! or the maximum velocity of a morris minor is no greater than 86.732 mph ?

Ah, excellent! To minimise embarresment to all assembled I will try to refrain from my Tom Baker impersonation and stick to the usual Simpsons voices.

Sorry guys. Due to unforseen circumstances I won't be able to make it tonight. I have an idea for next week, but I will post that later.

Well it was a pleasure to meet team 'SADMOG', I don't feel like the only moggy owner anymore! Looking forward to meeting again when time permits, may even have all my bits wired up next time......

It was good to meet you too Jim, I loved the optional auxiliary braking system, I was expecting more insults to fly during the eveing, the landrover club I used to go to was a never ending stream of insults but SADMOG are very sociable, chatty and people even smile!

My auxiliary handbrake is just fine but it needs an assistant to pick up the brick as I pull away...

How about a bit of string tied round it, you could then pick it up with just a tug, further more you could get/make/ask someone else to make it for you, a nice tapestry cover and pad it (I have seen bricks like this as door stops) then if it hit the car it woudl just bounce off

the tapestry cover adding to the decoration, maybe even get one with a Moggy on it

Umm, I made a mistake. I didn't mean my suggestion was for this week, rather next week.

Anybody got a boxed set we can lend him? His instruction must commence forthwith!
As for this week's pub: How about The Oak again? That's the one in Bank near Lyndhurst. Maybe Carlo will make it, and it's close enough for Mike, too.
