Concerning the german Autobahn: it’s not the cars , it’s the people in the cars that make things difficult. And a „run-away-car“ like an Audi S3 has got the same problems like a Morris if a slow going car is ahead. I use the Autobahn extremely seldom with my Traveller but I feel safer in a car with more power specially in case of overtaking in a right hand driven car in german traffic.

Lol she’s definitely fast enough. I had to jump into my modern Citroen this morning as there was a problem with the tyres so had to drive it up to the tyre place…. It felt like a snail compared to Nell
I think it's the perception of speed rather than the actual speed when driving most Morris Minors

The previous seller told me she can comfortably do 60, and will do 70…. eventually
Tbh I have no plans to go racing around. Most of the places I’ll be driving unless I do a trip are 30 or 40 mph. She’s fast at pulling out which is great news for where I live, means I can keep up with the flow

I’ve seen a couple of moggies in my area but not many! I wonder if I’ve seen you around? What do you have? If it’s the one in your pic I don’t recall seeing that (I would definitely remember!)

Yes it's the one in the picture. Was in the modern when I passed you.
I rebuilt it in 1990. It's only used for local shows now.
I've seen a couple of Travellers running round Basildon and a Saloon parked down a side road.

You’ve done a lovely job, she looks great from the pic!
I’ve seen a maroon traveller (which was what started this whole thing off
) and I spotted a cream van a few weeks ago. Not seen a saloon… but I shall keep my eyes peeled!
I can’t wait to spot another moggy on the road while I’m in mine
Hopefully catch you at a show sometime. If I’m feeling confident enough when they start up I’d love to take Nell!
