Thank you Phil.I can understand its confusing as I am not very mechanically savvy.Just one final question regarding possible adjustment if the piston increased it is just that.Can you please advise how to adjust as have no idea.Also will the threaded piece become longer or shorter if u am going the correct was please

Shorten the distance between the slave cylinder and release arm by loosening the nuts on the threaded rod and screwing them back towards the slave cylinder until you have the necessary clearance. Lock the two nuts together and re check the clearance.

Great news on one front.Worked on the piston for the clutch and no more slipping so hopefully has saved me on a clutch and parts.
