Having had a look at the underside it's not bad at all! Pretty solid.

I think all that needs doing is to replace the radiator, cure the charging problem, cure the large oil leak (tappet chest covers) and just tart it up a bit. The MoT ran out last December but it's still taxed until the end of September.

It starts, drives, stops and pretty much does everything it should! That's the only reason I considered it, as it should be fairly easy to get it on the road. The floor looks much better than my 4-door!

No chance!!! Grey will do fine, although it looks a bit pinky in that picture, but it's more grey in reality.

 OK, Kevin, I admit it!!!

Actually, the plan with the traveller was that it was going to be a quick fixer upper, but when we (Ray and myself) got to Dundee to pick it up it was more of a long term restoration project :(

I just wanted a standard 1098 to pootle about in....... so this seemed ideal *IF* it was OK. Having had a look at it, the floor seems OK so hopefully it will be a fairly quick fix. I can't start work on it though for 3 or 4 weeks as I'm having my garden flagged and the bloke can't do it 'till then. So the car is being stored at my dad's (with my 4 door) until then.

Have a look at the underside:
