Well July 17th is tomorrow, probably best to give them a ring and explain. Often the best way rather than waiting for emails.
Love to see a photo of your Type 55. I have a friend who is on the board of the Bugatti Owners Club at Prescott.

Think I'll stay put, thank you. Good riddance to those who give up on the country, I know it's not what it used to be but still pretty cool. Blown the bidders out then? See what I mean about the rich and famous?
This has been a weird thread in a funny sort of way, It's been entertaining.----and we've certainly got some mileage out of it, 32,142 miles actually!

I feel sorry for the Greek Great-grandmothers being wedged in
Morris MO seats!
Are we there yet?
How many miles has this thread been going?

I really wonder about this thread...too many inconsistencies / mistakes /spelling mistakes .....and Paul McC with a rusty old Minor? I also wonder why the Jap engine is going to run at only 2000 rpm for 75 mph? And give 50 mpg when doing so ? It'll be beating my modern diesel car hands down if it does...which seems highly unlikely .

How will an auto box only turn the engine at 2000 for 75 mph ? And 50 mpg from an old design petrol engine...aye right... Handbrake moved to the side? How did you do that? Let us have some facts on all that please ! I think I would be driving to Greece in the comfy/quiet/economic (is it really??) Pious.......

It's got to rank as one of the most surreal threads we've had.

Where does the QC bit come in? That just suddenly got added!

It is indeed hilarious! It's brightened up my days recently, that's for sure. And so many unanswered questions! The 'high performance' 948 engine turned out to be a damp squib - which is a pity because I was hoping to pick up some tips from that - the 948 being arguably the smoothest/nicest of the A series range.

The 'QC' suffix turned up last night. Interesting given the poor spelling and bad grammar. I'd have xpected better from the legal profession

In your recent ebay advert you said you were a mmoc member, and heaped praise upon it's members. Now you say you're not. There have been too many contradictions in your posts throughout and the pomposity of some have amazed me, you seem anxious to try and impress with name dropping and the like , and this qc business just comes and goes, are you really qualified as such? I can see these posts coming to an abrupt end soon, as you seem to be unaware of the impression you're giving, and the frustration it causes. However I hope all goes well with your projects.

Similar thoughts and comments from me. Very happy to help genuine enquiries and help resolve genuine breakdowns where I can. I did see the later comments regarding the 'high performance' 948 - which is why I noted it is now a damp squib. Porting a standard 948 head is not worthwhile when better heads with better porting and slightly larger inlet valve are readily to hand...and 'polishing' is not advised anyway. And most will tell you that 10W40 is too thin for an A series(unless in cold climate) , and 20W50 will do a better job - especially in warmer climate. But you will find that out yourself in due course.
