Looks like a good project, you should start a restoration thread for it. Have you registered its chassis number yet to see if its one that been known about before?

it came from the first owner a mr.campbell from hemel hempstead...so probably very unique..any other information welcome especially if there is any older ones that had one owner only..........of course I am going to restore it to a as near as possible perfect close to original...

I'm STILL sticking to 14, Ford Prefect's body number was 252638!

If you try www.whoreallycares.gov.uk the answer IS 14!!

By the by, I have THREE solid Morris Minor's, free to collector.

why am I writing this tripe?

I've had a look and I got it wrong:

The 'Answer to the Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe, and Everything is 42'. :P

It's okay though as they're taking me back to the asylum today............

I bet you'll get allot of response to your offer of free Morris Minors POMMReg, especially after a certain other post on here......

Time to get back to the real topic here: the question inquiring how may split screen Travellers survive??

In the days when I kept the S11 Traveller Register there were around 20 Cheesegraters ( 5 of which were in Norfolk) and about 200 in total. Given some will have been scrapped since then and I know quite a number of previously unrecorded ones have appeared including 2 1953 ones there probably still is around 200.
As regards the Deluxe question the traveller was produced in Standard and Deluxe spec from the start. I think deluxe ones had heater, two sunvisors, overriders and internal side trim as extra to the standard spec.
