Hi, I need a quick decision. The painter has had trouble with the cellulose maroon b paint I supplied him, so I've told him to go with 2k. Apparently it needs to be taken back and redone. Being really honest my favourite colour for a traveller is white so I'm now tempted to change the colour (if he hasn't bought the paint already). Any thoughts? Will changing it devalue the car, or put off future buyers? And what is he correct white for my year and interior? I need to tell him in the morning....

Just been reading through some of the restoration projects and I thought I'd chip in on this occasion. Basically, if the maroon is the original colour then it may (in some eyes) devalue the car. Also, there are a lot more white travellers around than maroon ones, so again this may impact the value.

But, more importantly, it's great to see another being restored!

Long time no post....

Apparently after a mere 8 months, the car is back from the painters on Monday! Is this a record?

In the meantime I have been tinkering with this...[frame]Image[/frame]

A 72 midget...

Now to try and remember where all the bits to the traveller are and how to put it back together! I may need a little support :)
