The Honda C90 cant be beaten! The best light motorcycle of all. It is neither a scooter or a moped, just a bulletproof, dependable small motorbike.

The C90 is indeed an excellent machine! Pretty good at wheelies too . The CG125 is another of my favourites - did my test on one of those. Just a shame they never made a 250/300cc version with 20-25bhp. I do have a bit of a thing for small Hondas - I still miss the CD250U I had a while ago, as well as the CD200 I had before that. Both excellent, practical, reliable bikes that were good fun to ride and the sort of thing that's sadly missing from the range of bikes imported these days.

just read this thread. my father had bikes for most of his life from a bronze head rudge ulster to a vincent hrd, sadly only the 449cc. the mode of transport was ajs with a large sidecar.he never had a car untill the late seventies. ive never been a fan off scooters or mopeds but do love bikes. i have a 1200 harley and a kz 750 hardtail chop. i would love a old british bike , but they seem to ask prices as long as telephone numbers. did have a go on a mates lambretta once it was ok untill i tried to lean it over on a roundabout, well!!!!!!!! you can guess the result of that

Despite popular belief, that just goes to show how far you can lean a Lambretta over before it lets go!

Do you remember the Wal Philips fuel injector? I also built a 225 sx, fitted with one of these. In fact I still have one! :D

To all who Ride 2 wheels (or even 3)
In the early 70’s I had several crashes, mainly Minor (oops) and my fault (to fast round bends, or their fault because the went tighter than I expected), the worst was a van that failed to stop at a stop sign and smashed me off, right outside the police station and less than a mile from the hospital (handy).
There where many occasions when I went wide on bends and nothing was coming the other way, I think that now the traffic is so much heavier the chances of a vehicle coming the other way are much greater, so an error in our riding is more likely to result in an accident.
I still ride 3 old British bikes and people these days just do not seem as observant and do not seem to see me!, yet in organised runs when there are several of us it seems as though people notice us and we get cut up less!
Safe driving to you all and have a great Christmas

That Wal Philips fuel injector looks like it's off a steam engine!
I bet it cost a small fortune.
