Interesting! The Bull M 'kit' clearly shows that it is NOT included - and they don't seem to sell it as a separate item either. I guess you are supposed to upgrade to Duplex from a rubber seal cover. Minispares have it http://www.minispares.com/Product.aspx? ... 550&title=

Nip it up slack - fit the crankshaft pulley - turn the engine over a few times - and then tighten the bolts !

just a little update. i have fitted the timing cover, crank pulley wheel and large starter nut. all nice and tight, all aligns fine. i fitted the new water pump and the pulley wheel. both the fan belt wheels line perfect. when time permits, i'll fit the alternator and try and line up the 3rd wheel and fit the belt.

i fitted the oil pump. i filled it with oil and fitted it. that small nut on the block next to the oil pump..... filled that with oil as well. turns smoothly. next time i'll refit the rear palte and flywheel.

that will just leave the head.

thanks. i'll update next time with some pics.

if you look at the engine in position in the car, it would be next to the block drain tap at the rear on the RHS. it's directly above the oil pump?? removed the bolt and filled with oil.

don't tell me that was wrong? it didn't take a great deal!

Ahhh right yes - some blocks don't have it - and yes it's there to allow you to prime the pump - so you 'done good' as some say up here!
