if it was to lower a morry, it would be about 50mm max. they sit quite high standard but i wouldnt bring the wheels any higher than the wheel arch.
probably a good idea to fit stonger marina torsion bars if lowering so it stifens it up and doesnt have the same chance of bottoming out. rear ones, i guess some good stiff telescopic dampers would do the job.
i like how i can drive anywhere in the morry without fear of scraping. shooting up peoples driveways at breakneck speed, bouncing over lumpy fields at a camping ground and driving over a pile of gravel without it even touching the car!! cant do that in a modern

Agree completely with this. I regard plenty of ground clearance as a feature, not a bug! ;)
That said, it's your car so do what you like as long as the car is still safe to drive...

I would inclose the back wheel totally like the forties American jobies, and have an external visor. But I have to admit I would not change it one bit.....except maybe put more wood on the out side......................
although round our way there are so many speed bumps you probably would not have much of the bottom left after a journey!

We used to do it all the time in the 70s you,ve got to grind the spring perchs off and weld them onto the top of the axle tube then longer shock links and brake pipe flexi and there you go the old bum up in the air look,
Thats if longer back shckles wasnt enough lift for you! it all got a bit extreem at one time to have jacked back ends with lights under the floor lighting up your suspension for all to see. Plus the car handling was interesting to say the least, but I do remember a top gear slaom test where the jacked car was quicker because the back swung around more!!
