I'm really confused. So how would I conect the pipe from the rocker cover to the carb as there is already a pipe from the carb to the canister thingy on the front right hand side of the block. Should I join the pipe from the rocker cover into that pipe with a T piece?
Just blank off the rocker breather with a suitable grommet, if you have the tappet cover breather, the rocker cover should not have a breather tube fitted. Nothing to worry about, someone has just done a pix and mix with engine bits at some point.

Put a T piece in and run rocker and cover breathers to the carb. You can never have too much breathing! Also stick with a solid cap, as bmcsays, neg pressure is better all round (even better is a valve in the exhaust to draw the gasses out, but that's the stuff of legend not every day spannering).

So there you have it, no way is right and no way is wrong

I would add that the feed into air cleaner housing chokes up the paper element in short order, and it creates a lot more noise than the single carb breather system.

Definitely don't block any breathers!!!!!!! That's the way for massive oil leaks. Join them together and then into the carb - not the air cleaner.
