We could make a weekend of it and have the Web rally on the Sunday.

Why not combine the two on the Saturday?

Coz the Saturday "thing" goes on all day - trips round museum. The details are in MM.

That's my whole point. The website rally is all about a gatheing of website moggy enthusiasts at a venue where there is something going on. Perfect

Surely everyone's going to Gaydon anyway?
Why not make the Website Rally an extra event?

That's exactly what I was suggesting.

I thought the whole idea of the Web rally was to go on a road run and end up somewhere for a look round and then go somewhere else. You cant do that at Gaydon with the parking attendants. I think its like the Miniplant visit in November - tickets etc.

But groups from similar areas could join up and enjoy a run to Gaydon.

I'd have thought that a saturday meet would be the best solution. doing a two day stint causes allsorts of extra issues like camping, and other costs.
I for one have been around Gaydon many times so would be just happy meeting with 'you lot' and the other minor revellers attending the official minor event. more the merrier, maybe we can encourage new members to the message board too.
Over to you Dan

From an earlier posting.

4. Create an online version of Minor Matters.
This would solve the MM problem

I think there was an online renewal, am I missing it or am I just imagining there was?

I was aware that the Gaydon party was on Saturday 20th but it isn't clear from the article in MM as to whether it is a ticket only event available to limited numbers only. There aren't any details on the Gaydon website.
Is the event open to non MMOC members? The article just says to send a letter to Rosie Hamilton for more details.
There are quite a few members of the website that aren't actually members of the MMOC so it would be nice to hold an event that every website member could attend if they wished, regardless of whether they were a member of the MMOC or not, hence the suggested rally date of Sunday 21st.
Is there anyone on here who has received further details from Rosie and can post more info?
