Just for the record. the new bush is 1.186, and the old one is 119.1. I decided not the change it. When I put my 1098cc ribbed box on my 948cc engine, what parts do I need to swap over. I understand that the engine back plate has to be swopped. What about the flywheel, does this need changing. I trust I will have to use a 1098cc clutch kit.

Can anyone help with the info please. What parts do I need to fit to the engine of a 948cc to fit a gearbox from a 1098cc.

IIRC
Engine Backplate, Flywheel, Clutch, Spigot Bearing, and probably the entire clutch linkage from the relay shaft forward, including the release bearing fork assembly.

Yes - go with the 1098 backplate (not SURE if this is absolutely necessary the difference between the two is not a lot ) and definitely the 1098 flywheel and clutch. However - I think if you just fit the 948 clutch fork into the 1098 box then you could just use all the 948 bits.
