Were you there? Did we meet? Name badges might have been handy
Hi Alex yes I was there all day for all 3 meetings {branch, agm, moderators} but I forgot to put my teeshirt on as I was more concerned about remembering to put a bonnet in the back of my car for Jonathon, sorry our paths didnt cross but thinking about it you were there in your teeshirt & beard and probably the only person I forgot to ask who you were as the teeshirt was a clue

and I was rather running around a little trying to catch up with people.
Sorry to hear about your mishap Iian but at least the RAC are still prepared to have a go at repairing our cars which is not a bad thing.
And although only one of our branch arrived by Moggie (Dale) there were 6 people from our branch there.

Roger pointed out that the pensioners rate is self-policing (they don't ask to see your birth certificate).
Actually that was me ;-)
A student (from b'ham branch) also raised a good issue - the club has talked a lot about wanting to encourage younger members. She asked for the club to have a young person / student discount.
As we can allow a discount for OAP's who may be on low income I think it's equally valid to ask the same for those at the other end of the age spectrum. I wonder how far that request will go!

I did about 350 over the whole weekend (+ 6 miles on foot).
