here is that section of the underfloor chassis in a closer view<br><br>

your floor
the main problem is they only do half floors which does not include the centre tunnel part
you will have to reapair that part

all other bits for the floor, inner step, and under cills you can get

the torsion bars will come out
all the other bits will be on your other chassis you got

Aupickup, are engine mounts available? there aren't any on my replacement chassis.

if you mean the engine mount towers then yes you can still get those

i will se if i can do a scan of the cab floor area

Do you want a scan of the rear body tub. I find the parts books are often a greater help than the workshop manuals, particularly the Haynes workshop manual on the Morris is very poor.

you know britab I have it in the dim recesses of my brain to do a traveller once my pickup is all roadworthy and shiney. Thats if I'm still able to drive by then. the rate I'm going through fingers and thumbs its questionable.

aupickup, way off subject but, do you know if van lower sides can be used as repairs for pickup lower sides?

yes they can
many pick ups were made into vans if the dealer did not have a pick up to sell

but you need the top strengening peice for the pick up

so yes can be used

Thanks aupickup, the panels I have are strong and intact, but there is a bit of rusting away at the bottom ends, I wonder if they do repair panels for the bottom of van rear sides, here's a shot of the worst one.<br><br>

I'm seriously digressing from my order of restoration, that is: chassis, suspension, brakes, cab, engine, rear body, but its good to plan ahead. Here's a shot of the other panel, the bottom edge is strong and solid, but the leading edge, where it curves behind the rear of the cab, is wasted.<br><br>

And just to show its not all bad news, the tops are great...and I've got the original tailgate chains, love that sound as you go over a speed bump<br><br>

Back with a jolt, the chassis, here are what remains of the only surviving erm chassis triangle for want of the official nomenclature (as my Grandfather used to say, being a ex wartime RAF storeman)<br><br>
