I agree with you---just a fun thing so don't write me off when updating. I will soon be asking to have the age bracket expanded. RichardLewis 89

Hi to every one at MMOC . Got myself another Moggy at Christmas ( last one was GLADYS a 1962 . 4 door bought in the mid. 1980's that was passed on to my Daughter when she became a qualified nurse in early 1990's ) ( think of Nurse Gladys in ''OPEN ALL HOURS'' ) Always wanted another but what with work and family just never got round to buying one. Now I have Retired .... This is a 70th Birthday present to myself

I've only just got round to looking at this. At 64 I'm fairly close to the youngest age at which you could have been a moggy driver while they were still in production. So it slightly surprises me that even after allowing for people getting a few years older since this survey was first started, quite a large majority of members weren't drivers during the "new moggy era". Not claiming any kudos for being born when I was, actually rather pleased that the majority of members aren't just old people trying to rediscover their youth (like me!)
So how many members actually bought a brand new Minor? I was driving my first when production stopped in 1971, but mine was far from new!

Bought my first Minor at 18. Sold it due to lack of funds and a family in 1985. After thirty years of having 'practical' cars I look forward to welcoming a Minor back into my life in the new year, hopefully.

The 25-29 are probably internet users that have Morris Minors and the 50-59 are the Morris Minor owners that have internet!

1. I'm just 6 months shy of 70 so still in the 60-69 group, Arthur (my van) is 6 months shy of 45
2. I had two Minors from 1964 to 1972 then I got the Internet, and now I've got another Minor! So where does that put me?

But which one is the old farts section? There seems to be several, or have they just split us into fairly old farts, old farts, and very old farts?

This thread was started over 10 years ago, we aren't getting any younger, that's for sure!

It might be interesting to see what was the average age 10 years ago and compare it to what it is now!

I've had to lie because in three months time, I'll be in the next age range
I'm also surprised to see that the largest number of members are in middle age, I'm used to an Australian Landy forum and an American MG forum where the ages tend to be more... experienced
BTW, I won't give my age seeing I rarely act it anyway, but my little sister is older than my Moggy

Do we have to log on every year and update our ages?
