Thank you for the good wishes. I didn’t have a problem; I was just paying a social call on the garage owner. Florrie the Morrie (ENP 722B) is on good form other than shedding a wiper arm this afternoon (I stopped before it slid off the scuttle!). That will motivate me to replace the wheel boxes/spindles with the new pair sat on the shelf in my garage.

Glad its only minor 😄 are you local to this area as I'm only in denmead, and my mog isn't as original, would be good to have a small local meet when the weather is a bit better,

She looks very good. Original is vital for concourse vehicles, but daily runners benefit from a degree of modernisation.

PM sent with contact details.

Not so much a 'spotted today' as a 'spotted in yesterday's Daily Telegraph'; a letter from Judy Woolley from Derbyshire about her daughter's inheritance of Mrs Woolley's father's Morris Minor which she drives about in in Switzerland where she now lives.

Black four door saloon on the B4364 Bridgnorth to Ludlow road . Very brave driving it on our infamous pot holed roads !

Have just spent a week in Milton Keynes area, didn't see any Minors whatsoever (except ours, which we drove 600 miles to get there and 600 miles home).
No moggies either on M23, M25, M1, A5.....
Do you all hibernate?

My nephew said he saw spotted my Morris 1000 van on Wednesday parked outside the garage where its having some work done on it so I phoned the garage and he said he is still waiting for parts so on Saturday I had a quick look and it was parked outside gathering dust and it looked finished. I will be giving another call. They have had it since the beginning of February.

If it has been outside all this time, what security do they have and does their Insurance cover them for Client's Vehicle Theft?
Tut tut.

It was in the workshop when I went to see it March and he supposed to have ordered the parts and it could not be moved as back axle was off. The garage is hidden from public view and only can be seen if you drive up a private drive and my nephew only went there to get an estimate for work on his car. But he's going elsewhere. There are security gates.

Actually spotted last night....
I was watching The One Show last evening, and they did a piece about Coventry cathedral being rebuilt post WWII.
At around 06.54 there's a brief shot of cars parked up...

From the back windscreens, I recon it's a 1000 and possibly a SII in front of it. :)

I reckon they're both Series11s with the smaller rear screen and higher rear wheel arches

I'm having trouble deciding about the size of the rear screen on the black one, but you're probably right comparing the wheel arches. :)

Well yesterday actually, parked up in the next village. I have not seen it before but having said that I have not been that way during lockdown for three months.

A very original looking Low Lite Minor

It had a pal hiding behind it too, a very nice little UK model Renault 4CV

I will have to keep an eye out for the owner and stop for a chat if I see them.
