15,000 K series conversions, better start looking for bigger premesis then. Bulk purchase discount, maybe!.
Andrew if you can make it over to us I have some boxes you can try, it'll be pot luck though!!. You do not want the V6 or diesel versions of the type 9 just the 1.6, 1.8, or 2.0 versions. We can do you a prop, so you do not really need the Ford item.

I will then, as soon as I have a car on the road and a bit of cash

I shouldn't worry then, Onne - you might want it for yourself though, probably make you some extra cash if you sell it on

I'll just settle for the Aussie Mazengarb head.
Got a lead but he's playing hard to get

Well, one's like hens teeth & the other's like rocking horse poo.
This is the first OHV conversion for sale that I've come across.

What car was it built for? Not the Mog, surely?

Yes, made for the sidevalve.
The only problem is that the manifolds need to be transferred to the other side.

Wow! Never heard of them, but VERY desirable indeed. I take it the one you have a lead on is one of the only 2 surviving working ones?

There's a few more around than just 2 or 3 now.
I now know of 3 or 4 (one might be an Alta) around Sydney alone.
The one I'm chasing has been kept by the owner since the '50s & has the original extractors with it.
Every year or so, one seems to magically appear - just not in my hands
