Same mines 62, don't forget the two sets of mounting holes in the floor so the pivot brackets can be moved back or forward.

Yes, the lever on the seat but it does not operate if you are sitting on the seat.

Looking at your initial image, you haven't got the position optimised.
The smallest amount of mirror from the mounting pivot (Green Line) is not towards the car.
You've got Amber line instead.
It's not a great difference, but taking all the angles into account, it could make quite a difference to the viewing area..
Plus seat adjustment, should you happen to be using the forward most seat mounting position.
It may be that whomever fitted the mirrors didn't think about it enough and could have mounted it a little lower and further back, choosing a too central position for aesthetics rather than practicality.
