That makes no sense, as each horn now has only 6v instead of 12v ... before anyone gets technical, yes, that is an approximation as I don't know the relative resistance values of the 2 coils.
Point is, have you wired them Series or Parallel...
I'm guessing you mean Parallel, but I'd like to clarify the point for anyone else reading this in the future considering the same modification... :D

Excuse my electrical ignorance! I have taken a new wire from each terminal on the original horn and connected them to the terminals on the new horn. I think that is called in parallel, not in series.

:tu1: I thought as much, just wanted to clarify it for anyone, not knowing the relevance, who might read it at a later date.
