Took out the dash to make room for the final cuts; this was finished up 9pm last night in the dark. Saving the dash panels for the latch brackets and switches I haven't removed yet. Need to determine location and direction of final cuts; how close to the inner wings and across or down through. Rather ugly rust out in the top of the battery box will need addressed. Left front chassis leg needs repair as well. Progress is being made!

Still scavenging the carcass of Donor 2 for as much as I can manage to remove. Got the wing bolts out last night; You guys in the UK might find this oddly cheapskate of me, but getting BSF 5/16 screws here in the US is a bit of a PITA. Saved the taillamp bases, rear bumper irons, and the parking brake handle. Out of the three I have, this one looks the best and should clean up nicely. I also saved the tunnel ashtray, although I don't smoke and I won't have smoking in the car anyway.

Wing bolts saved, all these sort of things can be very useful.

Finally getting to the welding. Had to suss out a way to pull the front clip tight up against the floor, used a come-along wrapped around the rear axle and hooked on the cross member. Got the seam across the floor welded up and the cowl ends welded. Good to be making some real progress in this heat and humidity. How anyone could have thought Florida was a hospitable, inhabitable climate is beyond me.
