Bill these are my pedals. The slot sizes are 20 mm x 30 mm .
Also can I ask is there a breather hole in brake fluid refil nut. When I push brake there’s like a we squeak off on the filler plug. ( is it normal ). Thank you.

The pedal to floor rubber look knackered or missing hard to see in pick, is that the clutch or brake, hold clutch pedal down with stick and look from underneath.
The filler cap must have a vent as no other vent unless you have a remote resevoir. .Dont remove it without cleaning the crap from around it

you suggested from moss. I will get them renewed I think they just broke away with age. Yes need to clean out all muck , just after getting new outer sills and floor repair
, I have bad legs and ankles and am thinking of moving seat forward and raising a bit but trying to keep original steering wheel as want everything as original as possible.
I am a paid up member it should be showing that.

As you see on screen shot it says no member.
Hope the rubber sorts your clutch pedal, found I could lift mine but looked under to find no return spring and no rubber pad were it hits the floor.

Your brake master cylinder cap is not original.
The original brake master cylinder is branded and has a hexagonal nut for undoing.
I would advise that you clean all that cr-p from around the filler cap before you undo the cap.

Yes thanks will be cleaning whole area before spraying
and I think I see the original is hexagon, lets hope they never wrecks threads as never had it off until everything is cleaned up. Got all new heater hoses on and replaced faulty heater valve ,moved my seat forward ( short legs and sore ankles and knees ) so now a lot more comfortable but very happy ran today for 40 minutes with odd bit of reving and temperature stayed nice and steady , still a bit of engine die off when engaging new clutch and pedal a bit harder to push , but then again when I was replacing the complete gear linkage there was no return spring.

Can i ask do i definitely need a vented master cylinder cap , as this one as in photo is not vented.
Thank you. It’s 1969 1098 traveller drum brakes etc as standard.

If you do not have a remote brake fluid reservoir you do need a vented cap.

Thanks Philthehill I bought bung with breather expensive little thing it was , As for fitting reservoir under bonnet is it easy to connect to save pulling up carpet etc to check brake fluid , as cars all gutted out and new soundproofing and carpet to go down . Do you screw new pipe into rear of original reservoir and lead round to engine bay and mount new reservoir, can this be done without stripping out old reservoir etc. do you know of any links to instructions to fit.

Fitting the remote brake fluid reservoir is of benefit but you must use the right type of flexible pipe between the reservoir and master cylinder otherwise the fluid can leach out of the pipe.
ESM sell a remote brake fluid reservoir kit but it can only be fitted to an original type master cylinder as the plug in the rear of the after market/pattern brake cylinders is different.
