We will - inspiration will strike tonight, I'm sure...
Someone put those bolts in, so we can take them out, I'm certain (ish)!

If at first you don't succeed, use a bigger hammer

If only! For once, that's not gonna work - will try a different spanner, but the problem is the bolts have very thin heads, so hard to get a grip on...

Well I got myself an extra pair of hands (It's amazing what you can find lurking in the back of your shed) and the engine and box are as one now. there were a couple of nasty twanging noises from inside the bellhousing as the bolts were done up
and with lots of ancilliaries to replace there is still room for disaster but [note to myself: chin up eh] I'm getting there.
Hopefully in time for the Nationals. I can't miss this years - it's just down the road!!

A large part of which is thanks to Andrew's efforts (not the sunburn though - that was my fault)
The problem in my case with getting the engine back in was the refusual of the engine mount tower bolts to undo. I did, however get all the bolts undone on the actual engine mount rubbers, and managed (with a lot of prising, swearing and bruised limbs) to get the engine sitting on both mounts again.
From then on in it was simply a case of persuading everything to fit back together!

Peetee before you put everything else back check that the cluch is working ok and that the twanging wasnt something coming adrift.
Nikki what did you have done to your engine ?
