Well yes, but factory part numbers and Unipart numbers are completely different of course for the same part. During the 1970s British Leyland decided to re-number everything and sell parts via their Unipart organisation to the great confusion of all BL storesmen

As to the whether the part numbers are right or wrong in my link above is now academic as I have purchased the three bottom trunnion sets. I am more than happy to trust my judgement in all things Minor and Marina/Ital.

Great that you've got the right parts, Phil, and for a good price. The correct part numbers are more than academic for the likes of us (myself included) who have less knowledge of the correct parts though

On that basis, I'm sitting on a small fortune if I ever have a clear-out. I can't imagine he'll actually find a willing buyer at that price though.

And the seller doesn't even offer a ring binder with the 111 pages of part numbers. Disappointing for £79.90. Otherwise it would have been a bargain

The three UNIPART bottom trunnions arrived today.
All three trunnions are Morris Minor and not Marina as advertised. Two left bottom trunnions and one right bottom trunnion.
Not full kits but I have plenty of NOS Marina trunnion pins (which fit and are of better quality) and NOS MOWOG Minor swivel seals.
The moral of this story is check the off-set of the pivot holes and you may get a bargain.
On the other side of the coin I have just pointed out to someone selling a bottom trunnion advertised as a Morris Minor trunnion that it is in fact a Morris Marina item.

Just about to take delivery of another Minor NOS bottom trunnion masquerading as a Marina bottom trunnion

UK made/branded and half the price of those available from the usual suppliers.
