Despite neglecting to use adjudicators, adverts & conjunctivitis within ones' posts, conclusion remains unchanged, one would assess van's age to mid 1971.

Build a wall to keep the exterior sunvisors & headlamp peaks out!!

Annoy anyone with a haircut more absurd than the president.....

I am sure that there is an innocent explanation but MOT history shows a reduced mileage between 6th August 2011 of 80265 to 23099 16 days later on 22nd August 2011 . The first ( failed ) & the subsequent pass being conducted at the same testing station !

Well, it could have been given a replacement Speedometer because someone broke it while working on the car to resolve the failings of 6th Aug.
My car had a busted mileometer for some 6-7 years before I brought it a couple of months ago. The Mileometer is not part of the MOT, only the Speedometer is, so it has the same mileage for all those years. I've now fitted a zero'd replacement.

What I noticed was that it failed and passed the MOT on 22.7.2013 and the Steering Rack was failed as being 'fractured and unserviceable'. I imagine it's pretty unusual to be able to get a replacement part for a Moggie and fitted in time for a retest on the same day, all in addition to having a number of brake faults remedied ....... Again, I'm equally sure that there is an innocent explanation.... :o

Perhaps it is all a testament to their determination to keep an older car on the road despite the challenges many of us also face .
